Izabela Iza Soldaty, a Vienna-based performer and movement creator known for her innovative interdisciplinary work, will guide the upcoming workshop about improvisation!

This workshop offers a space to explore non-verbal communication through movement, touch, sound, gestures, and presence. We will tune into our bodies, with a special focus on grounding and gravity, allowing these forces to guide us into deeper awareness and connection. As we awaken the flow of potential within, we’ll move into improvised dialogues in solos, duos and various group constellations. Together, we’ll fill the spaces between us, weaving our limbs into stories that speak without words. Elements of improvisation, contact improvisation, and sound exploration will support our journey into embodied expression.

Workshop leader / Izabela Iza Soldaty

Izabela Iza Soldaty is a Vienna-based performer, movement creator, and designer with a focus on performance, movement research, improvisation, and interdisciplinary creation. She develops movement practices and tools, used in both performance-making and education settings. Iza actively collaborates with various artists & supports art communities across Europe (Statek/CZ, Plantamor/ES). She also co-founded the dance collectives (Collective B, eNDe Duo) and performed internationally in places like Tanzquatier Wien, Landestheater Linz, Lentos Museum/AT; Tanzhaus NRW/DE; Opera Krakowska, Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury, Klub Zak/PL; AKC Medika /HR and others.
