Damian Cortes Alberti / Contemporary Dynamic

Damián Cortés Alberti is a multifaceted artist born in Argentina. He studied dance at the Universidad Nacional del Arte (UNA), at the dance school Arte XXI, and at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In 2019 he acquired the academic degree of Master of Arts, Dance Education from the Anton Bruckner Prvaruniversität Linz. In addition, he studied Argentine Tango with renowned teachers, Theatre at the National University of Córdoba (U.N.C), and violin at the Suzuki Method Córdoba. in 2005-2007 he joined the Ballet Contemporáneo del Teatro San Martín, Buenos Aires, under the direction of Mauricio Wainrot. After moving to Europe in 2008 he developed an intense career as a dancer in the companies Art Transit Dansa, Barcelona, under the direction of María Rovira; the ensemble of the Staatstheater Darmstadt, Germany, and later the Landestheater Linz, Austria, both under the direction of Mei Hong Lin. Since 2016 Damian is a member of Cie Of(f) Verticality, Austria, under the direction of Rose Breuss. Also has been actively involved as freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in different productions and institutions in Austria, Croatia, Germany, Belgium, Macedonia, Slovenia and South Korea. He currently teaches at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität and works as a researcher in the project Atlas of Smooth Spaces, Notating, Communicating and Composing Spaces in Audio-Corporeal Practices, funded by the Austrian Science Fund for Arts-based Research. He is a board member of Red Sapata Kulturinitiative, and co-producer of A!KO Dance Festival.
Samer Alkurdi / Contemporary SUFI

Dancer, Choreographer, Designer, Researcher, Director, Entrepreneur, Producer, Movement and Dance Pedagogue. Samer's work focuses on dancers' multidisciplinary routines and dance improvisation techniques that encourage contemporary dancers and choreographers to inform and be informed by other research fields such as cognitive science, architecture, fine arts, and interactive technologies. He studied contemporary dance and dance performance in the institute of dance art, Linz Austria. And later spent his master's study of movement research and dance pedagogy to develop a choreographic map as a method for approaching contemporary dance practice in movement improvisation within interdisciplinary and artistic contexts.
Rie Akiyama / Ballet for Contemporary Dance

Rie started her ballet training in her hometown Tokyo, Japan. After she graduated from the Ballettschule für das Opernhaus Zürich (Switzerland), working as a freelance artist such as Opera House Zürich, then engaged as a member of the dance company with Staatstheater Darmstadt (Germany). It follows to become a member of the dance company at Landestheater Linz (Austria). 2021 completed her Master’s degree in dance pedagogy at Palucca University of Dance Dresden (Germany). Since 2019 she is a contemporary dance teacher at the OÖ Tanzakademie, as well as since 2022, Ballet Point Dance Center Vienna, guest trainer of dance ensemble, movement coach for children’s and youth chorus, and other
pedagogical projects in Landestheater Linz. She is also engaged as a lecturer on
contemporary dance, composition, and improvisation at teachers’ seminar at Landesmusikschulenwerk in Upper Austria.
Izabela Soldaty / Improvisation : Embracing the moment: collective support & individual flow

Iza Soldaty is a dancer, movement creator, movement educator and a designer based in Vienna (AT). Her interests focus on improvisation, movement research, performance & interdisciplinary creations. She collaborates with various artists, including choreographers, theatre directors, visual artists and musicians. In her work she uses a somatic approach to awaken deep listening of the body and the environment, observing subtle changes, their potential and encouraging them to evolve, often in unexpected ways. Currently Izabela develops and shares her own movement practice called 'Embracing the moment’.
Izabela holds a BA degree in Contemporary Dance Performance & Dance Pedagogy (AT) and BA degree in Architecture and Urban Planning (PL). She co-created and performed internationally in places like Tanzquatier Wien, Landestheater Linz, Lentos Museum/AT; Tanzhaus NRW/DE; Opera Krakowska, Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury, Klub Zak/PL; AKC Medika /HR and others.
