LiLi Jung In Lee is a Korean choreographer, dancer, and producer based between Austria and Korea. She is the artistic director of Lee Jung In CREATION and the founder and director of A!KO TANZ FEST, a platform fostering artistic exchange between Korea and Austria.

Her artistic practice explores the body as a site of sensory experience, cultural memory, and transformation, with a particular focus on breath, rhythm, circularity, and embodied perception. By connecting contemporary dance with interactive media and technology, she investigates how movement can emerge, transform, and generate new relationships between the body, space, and audience.

She is currently a PhD candidate in Time-based and Interactive Media Art at Kunstuniversität Linz. Her works and collaborative projects have been presented and developed in international contexts, including Ars Electronica, and through partnerships with cultural and artistic institutions in Austria and Korea. Alongside her choreographic practice, she actively works as a producer and cultural mediator, creating international platforms for collaboration, research, and exchange.

A!KO TANZ FEST was founded in 2022 marking the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Korea. The festival’s mission is to present curated international dance works, celebrate the art of dance, and offer audiences a space for connection, dignity, and joy through movement. A!KO also supports emerging dance artists in expanding their reach onto the global stage and fosters inclusive dance experiences that bring people together. As a bridge for international dance exchange rooted in the Linz dance community, A!KO continues to grow through collaborations with global artists and presents diverse dance programs annually in both Austria and Korea, expanding into a larger global community from 2025 on. The festival is supported by tanzhafenFESTIVAL, Redsapata Kulturinitiative, SONNENSTEIN LOFT, Gangwon Arts & Culture Foundation, Arts Council Korea, and operates in strong partnership with CID Vienna Section, Anton Bruckner Private University, and the Rosenberg Dance Festival.
